Victorian Bedroom, Mercer House, Doylestown, Pennsylvania
This place was intense: all concrete (to be fire-proof), tiles made by hand to decorate the whole place with, just 8 men, and all self designed and funded (it pays to inherit haha), even wired for some electricity…guest rooms everywhere, and it just kept going and going like a maze. This was also the room with the picture of his niece that our tour guide pointed out was a very pretty girl but had a peculiar, Wagnerian type, german name…if only I could remember it!
And this was just the castle (home), there was the tile shop and 6 story museum he built afterwards.
